The memory slot is a micro SD card slot - I've used a Kingston 4GB card which works fine. I've seen other reviews saying it's limited to 2GB - maybe that is the maximum file size that can be captured? I have 5 videos on my SD card now with about 3.4GB left on the device. There is no view screen, so when flying you have to assume that whatever the copter's camera is pointing at will be captured. Here's the process I use to make a recording (very similar to kadams): 1. make sure microSD card is in the slot - copper contacts towards the body of the copter 2. make sure throttle is down - power up the controller 3. connect power to the copter (I wish there was a switch - I'm concerned about the durability of the wires being pulled apart repeatedly for charging) 4. press the black button just below the battery compartment, verify the tiny red LED starts to blink - just above the memory slot on the right. 5. set the copter on level ground so it can initialize and sync with the controller 6. Fly! 7. after landing, press the black button once more and verify that the red LED stops blinking. This will stop the recording and save the info to the memory card. 8. now it's safe to disconnect power on the copter and remove the SD card. see less

Yes, it comes with one set (1 prop per motor - 4 props total) of new blades as well as a protection ring - however the protection ring is taped to the underside of the inner packaging - if you flip over the white plastic packaging mold, you will find the ring taped underneath your model.

gently pull down on the little flap and pull battery at same time should come right out

Hi Nouman, I believe it may be due to the fact that the props on the quadcopter are in the wrong place or you are using the wrong ones. Take them off and ensure that the letters "A" and "B" are matching on the props and quadcopter. These are indicators for which props turn clockwise and counterclockwise. Hope this helps!

I have a GoPro and the Hubsan x4 but have never tried to put them together. I've seen it fly with a keychain video camera strapped to the bottom and maybe even a Mobius action cam might work. I just wouldn't wont to put my almost $400 GoPro on a $60 micro quad. Just my opinion. Good luck.

10 minutes tops

I would disconnect the battery immediately and then use a hair dryer on it till completely dry or put it in a thing of rice for a couple of days just in case.

This little guy flies so well. Its very inexpensive and ive been flying these over my phantom 4 and Typhoon H. If u crash worst case is usually just a broken or missing prop. Ive crashed them hard and they go right back in the air. They also trim out very well. Expert mode is crazy fast, Under 30$, A blast to fly and im sure i'll buy another.

I wont waste everyones time by retyping all the praise in the other reviews. The only reason I didnt give it a full 5 stars is that it is way too fragile for what it is meant for. The main body for one of the arms broke on the 2nd flight. It only fell from about 3 feet and landed on pile carpet. NO WAY it should have broke. Fortunately the bottom half of the body is still fine and gives the arm enough support that it is still flyable. Replacement parts are cheap on the internet so I'm not too broke up about it. (Already ordered a new body) But if I was a younger person with limited cash, I'd be upset.

This review is to reflect the product. I am a first time Drone buyer and pretty disappointed on how easy this thing stops working. One little bump, and I mean little and the motor dies. Tricks on the internet are worthless, just buy a new motor. Which aren't expensive but irritating. The toy does a fine job at keeping me occupied, but its very touchy. And I am in beginner mode, I would guess the cheaper ones would be easier to maneuver. Company who sold was quick. packaging was good, shipment time was a little slow, but that is expected during holidays.

Have to allow plenty of time to arrive but worth the wait. You do pay a lot more for the FPV (screen on remote) and its debateable whether its worth it as you can hardly take your eyes off the copter to look at the screen. You could buy the cheap model and be content to see the recorded video after the flight ?

Got this little drone for Christmas. Took a bit of time to figure out what I needed to do to keep it in the air. But with a bit of practice, it has been fun to learn how to fly. I asked for this model to keep the cost down, as I didn't want to learn how to fly with a more expensive one that I was going to crash. Replacement parts are cheap and fixing issues is easy. Keep in mind that you actually have to fly this one. It does not have any of the automatic features that some of the more expensive ones do (no auto hover or auto leveling features). Camera video quality is in the middle. I have seen worse, and have seen much better. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn how to fly and doesn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to do so.

Love it so far. A bit better quality than I expected and about as hard to fly as I expected. Actually purchased for our daughter for Christmas and she likes it but has a very steep learning curve (she is 6). Fun to fly. Havent tried the camera yet but will soon when the weather breaks a little warmer.

My fiancé and I bought this for his dad for Christmas and he loves it! It's very high quality at a good price. We appreciated the extra propellers included in the packaging since we will definitely need them as we learn how to drive it! I would recommend this product to any drone fans.

I bought this little guy for my boyfriend for Christmas, as he loves anything RC that flies...This is his first drone, and has spent some time learning to fly it. It didn't arrive in time for Christmas, but that was my fault for ordering it too late. It is fast! My boyfriend has had a blast with it, Definitely get extra parts, and battery when you order it. The little drone is capable of surviving some serious crash landings, but the propellers are a bit more fragile than the body of the drone...Over all, this is a great starter drone, and being that it is so small, you don't have to worry about registering it! Highly recommend!

I was skeptical about getting something so inexpensive, but this had good reviews so I decided to take the plunge and get this for my daughters for Christmas. I'm so glad I did (and so are they). It takes some practice to get the hang of it, and you have to read the directions to make sure you know how to adjust it to make it stable to prevent it from wanting to drift one way or another, but if you put just a small amount of time into doing that and understanding it, this is super fun to use. The recording is easy and surprisingly good quality too. The first thing you're going to want to do is order extra batteries and propellers, and get one of the protectors that mount to it to protect the propellers from damage. They do help quite a lot. The propellers can get damaged pretty easy but can usually be straightened with a fingernail to smooth the edges out. The additional guard really helps with that. Once you get the hang of it, this is a huge amount of fun. My oldest daughter is 12 and her and I were having contests to see if we could land it on chairs, or fly it thru the strings of garland draped from the ceiling. We did end up chopping up a bit of garland and had it all over the floor, but it was such good fun we didn't even care. Being a smaller drone, it is more twitchy and affected by the wind than the larger ones, but for the price, this thing is fantastic fun. We may have to get a larger one with higher quality video. Oh yeah, the video..... the video is only supposed to be VGA quality. I displayed it on my 55 inch TV and it looked pretty good though. You could tell it wasn't HD quality, but it was pretty darn good. It's probably comparable to VHS if anyone remembers that. If you want to try a drone, but don't want to spend a lot of money, this is a good choice. Just keep your expectations realistic and understand that it's not something you just take out of the box and fly. You have to take the time to learn how to fly it. It doesn't take long though, so if you just start simple, have fun with it, and don't get frustrated, you will have huge fun with this.
